Let's say you're a gamer. You've spent more than a day ignoring the beautiful outdoors playing the latest space alien-blasting first person shooter adventure and turned down river floats in favor of building your own city where ice cream is used as currency.
As it turns out, those rivers and your electronic gaming system are connected. The flow of water helps generate power which in turn make appliances and electronic devices operate. Learn more about this phenomenon at No Water No Energy, presented by the Snake River Alliance, Idaho Rivers United and Boise State University's Sustainability Club. If you listen closely to the flowing waters of the Boise River, you'll hear a sound: "You're welcome."
