Something You Should Do Friday.

Ten-year-old Boisean Lula Coe is battling stage IV Wilms tumor, a rare childhood cancer that has affected her kidneys, liver and lungs. During the past year she's endured several rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, lung surgeries and a bone marrow transplant, just to name a few procedures. She's been through more than some of us will experience in a lifetime.

One of Lula's favorite things is the 1982 animated feature film The Last Unicorn. Starring Mia Farrow, Jeff Bridges and Christopher Lee, the film is based on a story by author Peter S. Beagle.

Beagle is one of several people bringing the movie to Boise for Lula. The special screening will take place at 2 p.m. at the Edwards 22 on Overland. The event is free but seating is very limited. To attend, email with your full name, phone number and the number of seats you'd like to reserve.

Following the screening, Beagle will meet with fans at Rediscovered Books at 4:30 p.m.

2 p.m. FREE. Edwards 22 Theater, Boise, 7701 W. Overland Rd., Boise, 208-377-9603.
