"Tell me a story!" is one of the oldest requests of civilized human beings. Once our ancestors had enough food and shelter to avoid starving and freezing to death, their minds turned to entertainment—big-fish tales, hard-boiled narratives and calumnious ditties.
Following in our cave-people's footsteps is Story Story Night, which tonight hosts MiRAGE, tales of things too good to be true told by some of Boise's best storytellers. Jessica Holmes hosts and Dan Costello provides live music.
The pros at SSN will spin ribald tales before an open story slam. It all goes down at the Rose Room at 7 p.m. Admission is $8-$10.
