Need Something To Do Tuesday?

Kids still love Harry Potter, which is why parents and librarians also love Harry Potter. Nothing keeps kids quiet like burying their noses in an 800-page book and barely putting it down. The novel and film franchises have helped ignite young people's imaginations and promoted peace and quiet in many a household.

Today from 7-8 p.m., the Boise Public Library Main Branch is hosting a free Teen Night: Harry Potter Fest in the Hayes Auditorium. It's a chance for kids in their early teens to live out some of the adventures portrayed in the books. Attendees will be sorted into their destined Hogwarts houses and compete in a variety of challenges, with the prize being the House Cup.
