During the good ol' days when you were a kid, the game was stickball. It was played in the streets while old men in white undershirts shook their fists in rage from the open windows of their third-floor red brick tenement housing.
You have kids of your own now, who are cooped inside because of the chilly air. If there were a way to get them out of the house for a few hours, they'd presumably be much happier, right?
The Boise Public Library at Hillcrest can help. From 1-4 p.m., it's hosting Vacation Gaming. It's three free hours when children can play video games on either of the library's two high-definition TVs in the Lemhi Room.
