Next week, Chick-fil-A, the American fast-food chain headquartered in College Park, Ga., will throw open the doors of two new restaurants in the Treasure Valley.
Located at 300 S. Broadway Ave. in Boise and 2012 N. Eagle Road in Meridian, both locations will serve up the full menu of Chick-fil-A fare, including breakfast, chicken nuggets, milkshakes and salads beginning the morning of Thursday, Oct. 25.
Both locations will also offer the company's First 100 Celebration, in which the first 100 customers in line outside the stores will receive 52 free Chick-fil-A meal certificates. Customers camp outside in tents and sleeping bags for 24 hours to become the first 100 through the store's doors.
Lines officially open at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24, and winners will receive their prizes when the restaurant opens the morning of Thursday, Oct. 25. According to Chick-fil-A, if more than 100 people show up by 6 a.m. Wednesday, all 100 spots will be determined by raffle. More rules about the competition are available at the company's website.
Immediately following the dispersement of the certificates, both the Boise and Meridian Chick-fil-A locations will open for business.
The Georgia chain first introduced itself to Idaho two years ago by installing a Chick-fil-A express in the Boise State University Student Union Building. That establishment offers a pared-down menu to campus students and visitors.
