Due to its success, Homegrown Theater's run of its new play, The Basement Company, has been extended for another week at the Linen Building.
The play tells the story of a hack playwright, so desperate to get his play produced—and so delusional about its quality—that he kidnaps the best actors in town and forces them at gunpoint to put the play on in his basement. A full review can be read here.
The show will run Tuesday, Oct. 2-Thursday, Oct.4, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 for students and $10 general admission, and available at the door or in advance via brownpapertickets.com.
