Idaho Band Tim Blood and the Gutpanthers Drops New Album

Moscow punk band Tim Blood and the Gutpanthers—the group appearing in the best photo taken at Treefort— this week dropped a new record, The Fall of Tim Blood and the Gutpanthers.

The seven-track blitzkrieg of overdriven guitars and irreverent angst has only a single song that tops two minutes, a remix of the band's tune "South Dakota Pt. 2." The rest are short, sharp blasts similar to The Wipers or Buzzcocks.

The band has announced no plans to tour in support of the album, though it recently returned from a national tour with Caldwell punk band Art Fad.

The Fall of Tim Blood and the Gutpanthers is available as a direct-to-Web download via Bandcamp. It can also be streamed below.
