The job of a comic is to make it seem effortless on stage. But the amount of thought and work it takes to make it look effortless is staggering.
New York comic Scott Moran recently launched a weekly short Web series to explore the work and process of comics, to give fans a window inside their creative process. It's a sort of Behind the Music for comedy.
The series, Modern Comedian, is being released direct to Web.
The just-released fourth episode of the series covers the writing process of deceased comedy genius Mitch Hedberg, as observed by his widow Lynn Shawcroft, who shares her experiences with him, as well as many of his original notes.
