Need Something To Do Monday?

Even if you're not much into birding, you may delight in counting some crows at Idaho Botanical Garden tonight—well, rather, swaying to the sounds of Berkeley, Calif., band Counting Crows.

The "Mr. Jones" and "Accidentally in Love" crooners will play as part of the Outlaw Roadshow along with special guests Field Report. Kasey Anderson and the Honkies will also be included in the "special guests" category. Check out the group's website for some super funny facts about its members—it's worth it. Promise.

And sure, you could resign yourself to joining the ranks of freeloaders who sit atop Tablerock and listen for free, thereby likely getting called out by those onstage, but wouldn't it be nicer to get a ticket and be up close? General admission is $45.

The show starts at 6 p.m., but head to the gates when they open at 4:30 p.m. if you're after stage-adjacent lawn space. Bring low-backed chairs, blankets, a picnic or purchase some grub and booze from the onsite vendors.

The 2012 Outlaw Concert Series continues Sunday, Aug. 19, with the soulful sounds of Norah Jones.
