Boise folkers would do well to get thee to Neurolux tonight for a rogue's gallery of sensitive guitar-slingers including Boise acts Grand Falconer, Edward Romeo and Hollow Wood, all of whom specialize in dreamy harmonies and acoustic chops.
The evening will be headlined by Provo, Utah, band The Mighty Sequoya, who croon multi-part harmonies as effortlessly as shirtless dudes yell "woo" at a beerfest. The band's newish album, Sunken Houses, is building some buzz around the South and Mountain West, and the band was a featured performer at SLC's City Weekly music awards.
The show starts at 8 p.m. and is only $3 cheap. So get in there and feel some feelings.
