Need Something To Do Thursday?

Everyone can use an escape—a break from the humdrum, the usual, the banality of everyday life.

Luckily, Idaho Botanical Garden provides escapes on the regular. Among the long list of events happening at the garden is the Great Garden Escape concert series. From June-September, IBG hosts a variety of artists in its serene setting, alongside food and beverage vendors, such as RAW Sushi and Willowcreek Grill.

Tonight, you can unwind to the sounds of John Nemeth, who has enjoyed a decade-long career and is only in his 30s.

The Boise native has opened for Robert Cray, Keb Mo' and Earl Thomas and will bring his brand of blues—including mad harmonica skills—to the IBG stage at 6:30 p.m. Doors open one hour prior.

Bring a blanket, low-backed chair and a picnic, or save yourself the trouble and purchase some tasty eats and drinks at the venue. Tickets are $10, $7 for IBG members, $6 for ages 5-12, and FREE for children younger than 5.
