Need Something To Do Sunday?

What's better than a lazy Sunday afternoon? A lazy Sunday afternoon in the sunshine, at a winery listening to live music.

Today, you can take a short jaunt to Ste. Chapelle Winery and enjoy a concert. The Idaho Songwriters Association will hold its July forum, so you can sway to the sounds of singer-songwriters and then sway a little more with $5 wine tastings, available in the chateau.

Music starts at 1 p.m. and picnics are encouraged. Lunch from Brick 29 will be available if you don't feel like packing your own grub. But don't bring your own booze. It is a winery, after all, so there will be no shortage of adult beverages. But do bring a blanket/chair/something to keep the sun at bay, and there is lots of shade in the park, should you find the predicted forecast of 100-ish degrees terrifying.

Gates will open at noon and music lasts until 4:30 p.m. Admission is $5, or FREE for the 16-and-younger set. For a list of Ste. Chapelle's upcoming concerts, click here.
