Today is the 18th anniversary of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain's death. To mark the occasion, Spin Magazine published pieces of an interview with Cobain's widow, Courtney Love, in which she offers a scattered array of theories about where he might be had he lived—everywhere from a yacht, to displaying paintings like these in the halls of the Museum of Modern Art, to being a playwright.
From the article:
"We'd probably live on the Upper West fuckin' Side now and have three fuckin' kids," she told me, unprompted, in February 2011. "We might even have a divorce, like both be on our third marriage. I don't fuckin' know."
Love also makes reference to the tangled finances resulting from Cobain's death.
