Kids love art. They create masterpieces with finger paint, craft sculptures out of their dinner entrees, and attempt to display their creative side with Crayola murals all over the walls of their homes.
Boise Art Museum must realize this link between small humans and artistry, because they created Toddler Wednesday, which allows children ages 2 to 3 to interact with BAM's current exhibitions in creative ways.
Today, from 10 a.m. to noon, you can bring a youngin' to explore BAM's 75th anniversary Open to Interpretation exhibit and draw with oil pastels. Toddler Wednesdays are free with regular admission, and BAM's website warns to "dress for a mess."
So bring your kid, or be a good older sibling/aunt/uncle/grandparent for a day and head to BAM. Who knows? Maybe you're related to an up-and-coming Picasso.
