So you finally got your holiday shopping done, eh? Now comes the really annoying part—covering all those gifts with wrapping paper, which, when you think of it, is kind of silly in a way. You put forth all that effort to perfectly fold corners, tape things shut and search for bows just so someone else can rip apart your hard work.
Why not let someone else take care of the wrapping? After all, you went out and found all those really thoughtful presents. Lucky for you, the folks at Idaho Mountain Search and Rescue have been covering packages in all sorts of holiday wrappings for the last few weekends, and they'll be at it again today from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Sierra Trading Post.
For a donation, you can have all your presents perfectly wrapped, and they won't even ask to borrow your finger to tie bows. Remember to be generous in your donation—not only is it the season of giving, but the gift wrappers may end up being the people who rescue you from a ski adventure gone awry. And all the life savers in this nonprofit help people out of the goodness of their hearts—not for a paycheck.
