Ah, how nice. The kids are out of school for winter break. They've watched all the kid-friendly movies from Redbox, covered the fridge with new crayon creations, and played every board game in the house. Now what?
Fear not. The Boise WaterShed has some fun tricks up its sleeves—or it would, if a watershed actually had sleeves.
Anyway, the WaterShed's Winter Break Program is under way. Today, all ages are welcome to create winter-themed crafts, including snowflake art and fashioning jolly snowmen out of everyday household items. Make a penguin that sleds down a hill, create a winter scene or decorate paper ice skates.
The fun gets going at 10 a.m. and continues until noon. No registration is required, and groups are welcome.
