If you've ever been subjected to your younger sister/cousin's dance recital, you know it's basically a snooze fest with tots in tutus trying not to fall down on stage. Cute for the over-proud parents with video cameras in hand, but torturous for everyone else.
Well, don't worry. Tonight's Souls of Hands, Psalms of Feet isn't a recital—it's a fall semester finale. And the dancers aren't teetering toddlers, they've actually got some moves.
The evening's events are meant to showcase Boise State's growing dance program. You can catch the choreography of 12 students and faculty members today at 7:30 p.m., or Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., all for $7 (or $5 if you're a student, senior or member of the military). So head to the Danny Peterson Theatre in the Morrison Center and be amazed at the budding talents of Boise's future dance stars.
