Remember how in high school the really awesome teachers were the ones who pretended not to notice you texting in the back of the class, take a nap with your head on your desk, or let you watch movies instead of listen to them drone on and on while you plotted who you'd sit next to at lunch?
Well, The Flicks wants to let you off the hook in the same way those way-cool, probably hung-over teachers did. Tonight, you can go watch a movie and do some good. The theater will screen The Last Lions, a film about a family of lions on an epic journey. The National Geographic documentary debuted at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in January, and was released the following month.
Your $15 admission will benefit Treasure Valley Community Television. So feel good about watching a movie—but don't text during or take a nap in your chair. That part only worked in high school.
