Amanda Palmer Parodies 'Friday,' for Occupy Boston

Despite a wildfire of a Twitter rumor, Radiohead didn't perform for the occupation protest in New York City. But in an odd set of parallels, a sister act performed for an occupation protest in one of New York's sister cities.

Amanda Palmer of the Dresden Dolls, who recorded an album of Radiohead covers called Amanda Palmer Performs the Popular Hits of Radiohead on her Magical Ukulele, stopped by Occupy Boston to play for a spell and belted out this tune: a parody of Rebecca Black's "Friday," as told from the perspective of a truck-stop hooker. Instead of having to "get down on Friday," this narrator must "go down on Friday." Stay classy, Miss Palmer.
