It's dang near October, which means Halloween and spooky themes will soon be the order of the day.
There ain't much out there spookier than graveyards, especially old ones with tombstones covered in cryptic symbols and messages that those buried beneath them found meaningful.
And though it's not yet October, you have a great chance today to be ahead of the curve and get in a Halloween frame of mind by learning about graveyards.
Swing by The Eagle Public Library this evening and catch a presentation from historian David Habben on the history of cemeteries and the symbols on the graves.
The presentation starts at 6:30 p.m. and is free.
But if you can't wait until 6:30 p.m. and need a fix now, take a gander at the video recap of BW's ghost-hunting trip in October 2010.
