Every year, Boise Weekly publishes a volunteer guide. Every year, someone out there who wants to volunteer fails to pick it up and spends a long time scratching his or her head unsure of what to do.
Was it you? It's OK. You don't have to out yourself on the comment board. We don't hold it against you. We didn't pick up your newspaper that week either.
And that's why today, we'd like to give you another chance to hop on board the volunteer information train.
All you have to do is head out to the Ste. Chapelle Winery, where you can take part in Happy Tails Pet Adoption, an info session where you can enjoy wine and live music while you learn what you can do to help the Idaho Humane Society—you can even meet some friendly pets available for adoption from the IHS Mobile Adoption Unit.
The event runs from noon-5 p.m. and costs $10 for adults and is free for kids 14 and younger.
