Amy Winehouse Found Dead

UPDATE: MTV reported this afternoon that Katy Petty, touching down in Boise for Saturday evening's concert, tweeted her condolences, writing, "RIP Amy Winehouse. May she finally find peace."

ORIGINAL POST: The BBC reported earlier today that singer Amy Winehouse was found dead at her north London home. The cause of death had yet to be disclosed. The troubled entertainer struggled with alcohol and drugs and had several stays in rehabilitation and mental-health clinics.

Last month, Winehouse pulled out of a European tour after being jeered in Serbia. Audience members said she appeared too drunk to perform.

In 2008, Winehouse won five Grammy Awards for her breakthrough disc, Back to Black.
