Need Something To Do Thursday?

Birds are singing, the sun is intermittently poking its head out and the weekend crowds are swelling at Sixth and Main. That means spring is starting to do its thing.

Since spring is also the general start of the growing season, in addition to all the hand-holding and merrymaking, it's time to start thinking about food and how it's made.

So tonight, why not do that while enjoying a tasty meal?

Once a month, the Treasure Valley Food Coalition hosts Food and Film, a three-course meal from Red Feather paired with a documentary exploring issues of food or sustainability.

This month's film is Pig Business, an examination of the pork industry.

The event starts at 6:30 p.m. and costs $25. Tickets are available here.
