Despite centuries of diplomacy, commonalities in ancestry and poor judgement, there is one thing that we Yanks have never been able to figure out about the Brits: cricket.
For Americans, cricket is even more mysterious than the kilometer. The only thing that can make it more mysterious is when the English try to explain it.
So today, why not drop all that book learning and figure it out the American way: by powering through it.
The Boise Cricket Club meets every Sunday in Ann Morrison Park from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. The pitch is located just west of the clock tower. All equipment is provided, but bring water and a hat.
