Idaho's Super Bowl Connections: Players, Coaches and Cheese

Looking for a team to root for in Sunday's Super Bowl? Maybe the Idaho connections to the Packers and Steelers might help you decide.

Pittsburgh's squad includes offensive line coach Sean Kugler. He was assistant head coach for Boise State in 2006.

GreenBay boasts a few more connections to the Gem State. Daryn Colledge is a former Bronco and right guard for the Pack. This is his fifth year in the NFL. Korey Hall also played for Boise State. He's the back-up fullback and plays special teams for Green Bay. Evan Dietrich-Smith played for Idaho State. He'll be suiting up for the Packers as a back-up offensive lineman. And John Rushing, who served as graduate assistant at Boise State in 1998 and 1999, is the offensive quality control coach for the Packers.

Finally, here's the real inside trivia for your Super Bowl party: Marathon Cheese, which operates a major cheese packing plant in Mountain Home, is based in Green Bay, Wis., home of the Packers.
