When Rivers Cuomo sings, it's not always easy to tell if he's being serious or sardonic. In the case of Weezer's rock cover of the 1996 Toni Braxton hit, "Un-break My Heart"—on Death to False Metal (David Geffen Co., November 2010), Weezer's new album of previously unreleased tracks—the same is true. But what is also true, is that regardless of what's intended, it is easy to believe Cuomo means every word. This song is no exception, especially when he hits the high notes.
