The Thanksgiving holiday weekend was full of ups and downs for Boiseans—Bogus Basin opened just in time for skiers to stop foaming and start schussing, and the Boise State Broncos ended their 24-game undefeated streak.
But for a few Boiseans, the weekend also had some sideways:
Less than three miles from the base of Bogus Basin Road, an SUV that had clearly misjudged speed or conditions (probably both), lost control on a patch of ice. The message from La Nina is clear: use extra caution when driving, and allow extra time so that there's never a reason to rush.
