Franco and Hathaway to Host the Oscars

The producers of the 2011 Academy Awards have decided to go "new school."

James Franco and Anne Hathaway, each approximately 80 years younger than previous hosts, have been asked to helm the Oscars on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011.

Franco and Hathaway both have serious acting chops—watch Franco in 127 Hours and Hathaway in Rachel getting Married—but they've each hosted Saturday Night Live multiple times.

Here's a look at Franco's last visit to the Oscars, in 2009, with his buddy Seth Rogen.
