With hunting season underway, I find that many people are afraid to cook what they harvest. As a chef and hunter, I am going to provide a few tips and techniques to make sure that the game you worked hard for is as tasty as possible. Hopefully this will be the beginning of a series of videos demonstrating how easy it can be to cook wild game.
For this video, my brother was nice enough to shoot a jack rabbit for me while out bow hunting for deer in the Owyhee Mountains. I gathered some other high-desert ingredients to cook a nice rabbit stew. Check out the video for cooking tips and a great view of Idaho's mountains.
