Each year, about 20 chefs from all over Idaho join forces to raise money for the Idaho Food Bank at the Chefs' Affaire. We sit across conference tables and discuss the dishes, the wine and the logistics of feeding 400-700 people a spectacular meal. All on our own time and dime.
This year the Chefs' Affaire is celebrating its 12th anniversary on Thursday, Sept. 30, at 6:30 p.m. at the Boise Centre in downtown Boise. The event will feature music from Curtis Stigers, a live and silent auction and an all-Idaho wine tasting.
How often can you get the combined talents of 20 chefs preparing you a five course dinner with wine for less than $100? Almost never. Which is why I encourage everyone who can to attend this great event for this great cause to do their part.
