Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin shot off another verbal firecracker this weekend. Though it's not as delighteous as last month’s gaffe “refudiate,” it is oh-so-ironic.
Speaking on Fox News Sunday, Palin exclaimed “[Arizona Gov.] Jan Brewer has the cojones that our president does not have to look out for all Americans—not just Arizonans, but all Americans—in this desire of ours to secure our borders and allow legal immigration to help build this country, as was the purpose of immigration laws."
Saying that Arizona’s controversial anti-immigration governor, a woman, has a bigger sack than our president, a dude, is one hilariously untrue thing. But saying the Spanish word for testicles in the very same sentence that she’s advocating shutting Spanish speakers out of the country? Now that takes balls.
