The Boise Chamber Music Society and the Boise State Dept. of Music will kick off their 2010-2011 chamber music series with their series opener the Gryphon Trio on Friday, September 17. So if you are looking for a classy night on the town, don your pearls and cufflinks, and head down to the Morrison Center Recital Hall.
The series starts with the Gryphon Trio, who are back by popular demand, after a stunning performance last year. They are followed by Grammy-winning Eighth Blackbird. Next, the Peabody Trio performs for the fifth time in the Boise Chamber Music series. And last but not least, the St. Petersburg Quartet closes out the series next spring.
Tickets are $100 for the entire 2010-2011 series. Every show will be held at the Morrison Center Recital Hall, at 7:30pm on Friday evenings. For more information, visit boisechambermusicseries.org/
