Nappy Roots Head to Boise



Even the name Nappy Roots suggests a band with few worries and unlimited possibilities. The band first emerged on the music scene in 1998 with their hit album Watermelon, Chicken, & Gritz, which sold more than three million copies. Since then the band has had success all over the country, marked with several Grammy nominations.

Nappy Roots is an American alternative Southern rap quintet, famous for mixing an element of laid-back soul music with a few groovy acoustic riffs.
