Boise Weekly spoke with Pie Hole owner Russ Crawforth this morning about not one, but two, new Pie Holes to open next week.
Pie Hole version 3.0 will open for business in downtown Meridian on Friday, April 1, and out in Pocatello on the same day, Crawforth's brother, Jason, will open the fourth location with another business partner.
The original Pie Hole opened in downtown Boise almost five years ago amid a proper flurry of new pizza places, including Tony's, Proto's and Front Door, in addition to the long standing slice king, Guido's. Pie Hole II on Broadway Avenue opened two years ago, luring in the Boise State crowd.
The secret to the Crawforths' success? BW's theory is location, location, location—where you'll find a Pie Hole, you'll find nearby watering holes). Russ Crawforth credits his employees for being stellar and consistent.
