Longtime Boise Weekly contributor Ted Rall has settled into a "comfortable state of wretched" as he tries to recover from swine flu.
Rall, who lives in New York City, is one of the estimated 40,000 Americans who've had H1N1, as is CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta and possibly CNN's Anderson Cooper. Rall, like Gupta, described having the virus as the worst he's ever felt. Even worse than the time he was thrown down two flights of stairs.
Check out the Sept. 30 edition of Boise Weekly for Rall's account of not only having swine flu, but also the hassle his insurance company gave him over his Tamiflu prescription.
And here's what Gupta and Cooper had to say ... (Cooper actually found out in this segment that he likely had swine flu and didn't even know it.)
