Ed. note: A reader was kind enough to let me know that the name of the Pet Shop Boys' new album is not Pandemonium, but Yes. Yes, I mis-read the press release. Yes, the following post reflects the correction. And, yes, I'm grateful for the update. Thanks, Jeff.
The Pet Shop Boys are poised for Pandemonium, the name of their upcoming tour in support of Yes, their 10th studio album, which was released in March of this year.
Together nearly 30 years, Pet Shop Boys Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have sold more than 30 million records and are receiving high praise for the new album, and the tour promises "multi-media shows that will include Pet Shop Boys' greatest hits and celebrate the new album."
Members of the PSB's online community are eligible for presale tickets and VIP packages, which include a meet-and-greet with Tennant and Lowe.
You can find and hear and see PSB all over the Internets: follow them on Twitter, become a fan on Facebook, watch the video for "Love, Etc.," play Pet Shop Boys Pong or see them perform with Brandon Flowers and Lady Gaga.
The closest to Boise they'll be is Seattle at the Moore Theatre on September 20, but what a gorgeous time of year for a road trip.
