You lily-livered Robie runners. Oh, wahh, wahh, like you couldn't run through a little snow? Your sniveling is killing us.
And apparently one of you sorry excuses of a mountain runner got to the Ada County Highway District.
Why, in our day, we ran through the snow that had accumulated after a harsh winter. Uphill both ways and everything.
But not you wussies: ACHD tells us that they're going to head out to the course tomorrow and plow the route for you pansies.
If we didnt remove the snow, the runners would have to run on snowshoes on the backside, said a not-visibly-sniffling Randy Noble, the maintenance superintendent for ACHD, in a statement released to reporters today.
The lily-livered Noble went on with some hogwash about how "emergency vehicles couldn't get to runners" if something happened up near Aldape Summit.
It's the beginning of the end. What do you want next year, Robie Runners? Massages at every mile? A treadmill for the steep parts?
