The City of Boise is getting serious about finding a new airport director$30,000 serious.
The City Council will consider a resolution on Tuesday night authorizing the city to pay $30,700 to ADK Consulting, Inc. to conduct an executive search to help fill the top spot at the Boise Airport. The position has been open since former director John Anderson
left last August.
Andersonwho resigned suddenly after more than 16 years with the airportwas the citys highest paid employee, making $114,491 when he left, according to the Mayors Office. He is now the general manager of the McCall airport.
The corporate search began earlier this year after the citys top contender for the job turned it down.
