Smokers Will Take It Outside

Poll results from Smoke-Free Night at the Balcony

If you ask people at a well-publicized "smoke-free" event if they'd prefer to go to a smoke-free bar, well, you might not be surprised to hear the resounding "Yes."

But I was surprised to see this: a majority of smokers who attended last week's Project Filter event at the Balcony told polltakers they would be willing to take it outside.

Poll results are courtesy of the the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.

Q1: Would you prefer to go to a smoke free club or bar?

Total Respondents = 280

“No” = 31.1%

Q2: If you smoke, would it bother you to have to smoke outside?
