The National Weather Service office in Boise says there's a little bit of everything in the forecast.
Following near-record highs in the Treasure Valley on Friday, a cold front blew into Southern Idaho early Saturday, with gusts clocked as high as 45 mph. A wind advisory remains in effect
for the Upper Treasure Valley and portions of the Treasure Valley until 6 p.m. Saturday. The NWS also says some significant dust storms could shut down Interstate 15
in eastern Idaho today. The places most prone to dust storms in that area are near the communities of Idaho Falls, American Falls, Roberts and the Arco desert.
The forecast also promises some delightful spring weather in the coming days: Sunday and Monday should be sun-drenched and cool, sunny days are expected for the rest of the week leading up to Easter.
