The Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline is looking for "Hotline Ambassadors" to help bring awareness to suicide and suicide prevention to their communities.

Ambassadors are volunteers who help with tabling at community events, presenting on suicide prevention and the hotline, delivering ISPH materials to organizations that request them, and collecting referrals to complement the hotline's list of caller resources.

Volunteer training takes place all across the state, and the next training classes happen on Saturday, March 7, and Saturday, April 4, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. For more information visit the ISPH webpage or call Nancy Pounds at 208-256-6994.

If you or someone you know is in emotional distress or suicidal crisis, call 1-800-273-TALK.
