Boise police are searching for an elderly couple who failed to return home after they went for a drive the afternoon of Feb. 4.
Family members told officers that Walter Rich, 82, and his wife, Virginia Taylor, 91, of Boise, enjoy driving along remote roads. They reportedly left Boise Tuesday at approximately 2 p.m., telling family that they would be home by 4:30 p.m., but by 9:30 a.m. Feb. 4, they had not returned or been located by police.
This is not the first time Rich and Taylor have gone missing: In May 2014, they got stuck overnight on a back road in Boise County, but were located by a passerby.
Rich is described as 6-feet, 8-inches tall, 265 pounds with gray hair. He reportedly has difficulty walking. Taylor is 5-feet, 5-inches and 169 pounds. She also has gray hair. Their car is a 1995 beige Buick LeSabre four-door sedan with Ada County (1A) license plates.
Police ask that you call local law enforcement if you have seen Rich and Taylor or their car.
