Fog Continues to Tangle Traffic, Cancel Flights in Boise

In addition to fog tangling the Treasure Valley's morning commute throughout this week, a number of flights have been canceled or delayed at the Boise Airport.

For the fourth straight day, a dense-fog advisory was issued for the Treasure Valley Thursday morning, this one stretching until noon, with more dense fog in the forecast after midnight and again on Friday morning.

Meanwhile at the Boise Airport, flights were canceled to Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston and San Francisco due to fog.  But flights to and from Portland, Seattle, Spokane and Denver were taking off and landing.

The National Weather Service Office in Boise says the fog will continue into Saturday with a chance of freezing rain or snow this coming weekend. Rain is likely for the first part of next week.
