One traffic stop resulted in two felony arrests Monday afternoon as Boise Police took two men into custody and seized 130 grams of marijuana.
Police said they witnessed a traffic violation near the area of Fairview Avenue and South Five Mile Road Monday afternoon. But when they soon discovered that a passenger in the vehicle was wanted on a Canyon County warrant for failure to appear on a previous charge. A K9 also alerted officers to the presence of narcotics. That's when police discovered four baggies that tested presumptive positive for marijuana.
29-year-old Kasey McNabb of Boise was charged with delivery of a controlled substance and 29-year-old Jonathan Tuohy of Nampa was charged with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear.
Boise Police also report that they assisted parole and probation officers Monday afternoon when they discovered a large plastic bag containing marijuana at an apartment on the 900 block of North Maple Grove Road. Police also located syringes and a substance that tested presumptive positive for meth, along with a scale and other drug paraphernalia.
44-year-old Kevin McCord of Boise was booked into the Ada County Jail on a felony charge of possession of meth and two counts of marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
