Times-News: Fake Cop Strikes Twice, Pulling Over Female Motorists

Twin Falls law enforcement are warning the public about a pair of incidents in which a man, impersonating a police office, stopped two female motorists.

This morning's Twin Falls Times-News is reporting that the latest incident occurred Dec. 20 in Twin Falls, where a man driving a black SUV put on emergency lights and pulled over a vehicle. The fake cop asked the woman for identification and told her to get out of the car, but the woman drove to another area that she said was better-lit and called authorities.

The suspect was described as a clean-shaven white male with a polo shirt. That's the same description that another woman gave police after she said she was stopped about a week ago.
