Boise police had to wrangle some cows, along with morning rush hour traffic, early Wednesday.
Officers were summoned to Cole Road, just north of Victory Road this morning. That's where they found five cows that had wandered away from their pasture to mingle with early morning motorists.
"Boise isn't the Wild Wild West, but this is a good reminder to pay attention on your morning drive for anything," BPD tweeted at 9 a.m.
Ultimately, with the help of neighbors, police were able to corner the cows behind a Cole Road business. That's where a makeshift pen was able to corral the animals while the owners prepared to load up the cows and take them back to friendlier confines.
