Suspect, Already Awaiting Trial for Murder, Is Charged With Second Idaho Killing


FBI agents teamed with up with Idaho State Police detectives Dec. 15 to arrest an Idaho City man in connection with the murder of of an Idaho City man more than a fourteen years ago.

This past October, detectives discovered the dismembered skeletal remains of Joshua Reddington near a remote cabin in Boise County. Detectives say they believe Reddington was killed shortly after he went missing in May of 2000. Reddington was 25 years old at the time of his death. 

And this past Monday, lawmen went to the Ada County Jail to charge 46-year-old Michael Dauber with the murder. Dauber was already awaiting trial connection with the 2008 death of another man, Steve Kalogerakos.

Dauber was arraigned Tuesday afternoon in 4th District Magistrate Court in Ada County on charges of first degree murder and using a firearm in the commission of a felony. His preliminary hearing is set for Monday, Dec. 29.
