Boise Police are looking for the public's help in identifying a hit-and-run driver that put a Boise pedestrian in the hospital Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 3 p.m. on Dec. 10, police and emergency responders were summoned to South Broadway Avenue and West Howard Street. That's where witnesses said the driver of a large, dark-colored SUV traveling south on Broadway jumped the curb, drove onto the sidewalk and struck a woman in her early 20s.
The woman suffered head and leg injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
Police say the vehicle was most probably a Mercury Mountaineer or Ford Explorer and likely dark green or dark blue in color.
Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 208-343-COPS.
