North Idaho Crime Spree Includes Stolen Cars, Motor Home and Salvation Army Kettle

Law enforcement in North Idaho are on the lookout for a thief who they say went on "a wild crime spree," taking several things including a motor home, two cars and a Salvation Army Red Kettle.

KHQ-TV reports that the man, described as being in his early 20s, with light-colored hair and slender build, is thought to have stolen a silver Hyundai Elantra from a Post Falls car dealership. Police say he didn't even get out of his car to steal the Salvation Army kettle, grabbing the kettle while still driving. According to police, the man was also spotted stealing clothes from a St. Vincent de Paul donation tent.  Police also discovered that the suspect had been living in a stolen motor home.

Post Falls Police are asking anyone with information to call them at 208-773-3517.
